Willy’s thoughts about his commitment:
I am very excited to have committed to Mount St. Mary’s University. After touring the campus and meeting the players and coaches, I believe this is the best fit for me. I look forward to playing for Coach Gravante. I am impressed with the way he put together his program and his commitment to push the team to a higher level. In addition to the lacrosse program at Mount St. Mary’s, there are also many majors that are of interest to me.
I am thankful and proud of the time I spent playing summer lacrosse for Low and Away. They have helped me to improve my game and made the recruiting process easier helping guide me to find the right school. In addition to Low and Away, my experience playing with the Manheim Township Blue Streaks helped me get to the next level. I would like to thank Coach Wimer, Coach Nicodemi, and Coach Dave for their guidance and support. I would also like to thank my teammates from both Low and Away and the Blue Streaks. I have enjoyed playing with all of you guys.
We as a staff are extremely excited for Willy and his opportunity to further his education while playing Division I Lacrosse at Mount St. Mary’s. Willy has dedicated his time to improving and bettering himself on the field and in the classroom. Willy has transformed his play from a role position to a top notch player.
Again congratulations and all the best to Willy Hendrick a Mount Saint Mary’s offensive commit!
